Headquartered in Manhasset, New York, Administrators for the Professions, Inc. (AFP) is the management company, conducting all day-to-day operations for Physicians’ Reciprocal Insurers (PRI) - the second-largest medical malpractice writer in New York State and one of the leaders in the nation.
 
PRI has been servicing New York doctors since 1982 and continues to be one of the leaders providing coverage to physicians, podiatrists, chiropractors, dentists and healthcare facilities. The leadership and direction of PRI is provided by its Board of Governors, which is comprised of physician subscribers and insurance executives.

In September 2006, Administrators for the Professions, Inc. was purchased by AJB Ventures Inc., a privately held firm. The AFP management team, headed up by Anthony J. Bonomo, continues to operate PRI in the same professional manner. PRI’s Board of Directors has endorsed this change of ownership, providing seamless technical support for PRI’s vast underwriting, risk management and claims facilities.

AFP is located in Manhasset, Long Island, New York just over the Queens border. We are just minutes from the LIE and Northern State Parkways and are blocks away from North Shore University Hospital.
