The Claims Department is responsible for the investigation and handling of all reported lawsuits and incidents. Our Claims Examiners typically have medical and/or insurance backgrounds and are responsible for thoroughly investigating the medical and legal insurance issues jointly with defense counsel. We rely on our Claims Examiners to provide the policyholder with superior service. Although the majority of the Claims Department employees are located at our Manhasset office, we also have a satellite office in Rochester that handles claims in upstate New York. Our Accounting Department is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant. This position is responsible for the preparation of financial work papers and supporting schedules. Four year degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 1 - 2 years accounting experience required. Applicants must be proficient in Lotus or Excel for Windows. Customer Service Supervisor
The Claims department is recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising the Claims Service Representatives, initial determination of coverage and approving the establishment of claim files when appropriate. Applicants should be a college graduate or have equivalent work experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a corporate environment necessary.
