Anthony
J. Bonomo, Esq. is CEO of Administrators for the Professions,
Inc. ("AFP") and Board Member of Physicians' Reciprocal
Insurers ("PRI"). Mr. Bonomo has been with AFP since
1985. Prior to that time, Mr. Bonomo served as a litigator
on medical malpractice and tort claims.
Gerald
Dolman, Esq. is President of Administrators for the Professions,
Inc, and a Board Member of Physicians' Reciprocal Insurers.
Mr. Dolman has been with AFP in that position since February
1999. Prior to that time, Mr. Dolman had been AFP's outside
counsel since the formation and licensing of PRI in 1982.
Mr. Dolman's legal career had been spent representing insurers
in connection with regulatory matters.
Carl
Bonomo is Executive Vice President of Administrators for
the Professions, Inc. Mr. Bonomo has served as a Vice President
of Citicorp. His responsibilities at Citicorp were to oversee
Citicorp's foreign currency division. On an annual basis Mr.
Bonomo was responsible for a budget of approximately $50 million
and 150 employees. He has extensive experience in all aspects
of budget and office management. Mr. Bonomo left Citicorp
to serve as Sales Manager of Equity Settlement Services, a
National title insurance and real-estate settlement company.
Bernard
McArthur began work with Administrators for the Professions,
Inc. in 1987. He became the company's Vice President of Operations
in 1994, and Chief Operating Officer in 1996. He obtained
his masters degree in accounting from Long Island University
and prior to joining AFP, Mr. McArthur worked as a Systems
Analyst for Xerox Corporation.
Steven J. Coniglio, CPA is the CFO and Treasurer at Administrators for the Professions, Inc. Mr Coniglio has been with the Company since 1998. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Coniglio graduated in 1983 with an Accounting degree from Adelphi University and later than same year began working for Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Coniglio left Coopers & Lybrand as an audit supervisor. Over the years, Mr. Coniglio has had many titles in the accounting and finance area and steadily progressed within the Company. Mr. Coniglio was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer in January of 1999.
Mark
Paykin, Ph.D, FCAS, ASA, MAAA, was appointed Senior Vice
President/Actuarial Services for Administrators for the Professions,
Inc. in 1999. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society,
an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of
the American Academy of Actuaries. Mr. Paykin came to AFP
in 1990 and has ten years of experience in Medical Malpractice
Insurance. He received his Ph.D in Applied Mathematics, at
Polytechnic University, St. Petersburg, Russia.
Jeanne
H. Braun is Executive Vice President of Hospitals and
Special Programs at Administrators for the Professions, Inc.
Prior to joining AFP, Ms. Braun established a successful career
as a Risk Manager and Hospital Administrator. A former President
of the New York Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management
Society, Ms. Braun has published several articles on risk
management and healthcare liability. A graduate of Queens
College, she obtained her Masters degree in Public Administration
from Long Island University and her A.R.M. certification from
the Insurance Institute of America. Ms. Braun is also a licensed
broker and serves on the Board of The Spencer Educational
Foundation, Inc., a fundraising organization that promotes
risk management educational opportunities for students in
high school and college.
Marjorie O. Thomas is Senior Vice
President for Risk Management and Underwriting. Ms. Thomas joined AFP in 1985, after
several years in hospital administration and establishing the risk management
department at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. Ms. Thomas holds a Masters degree in
Public Administration and has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and
Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designations. Ms. Thomas is a
fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management and is a member of the
faculty of the Institute for Healthcare Communication.
Martha
J. Merritt is Vice President with responsibility for PRI's
Dental Professional Liability Program. She earned a Master
of Science Degree in Education from Queens College and taught
for nine years before joining a venture capital investment
firm, eventually being promoted to assistant controller. In
1992, Ms. Merritt joined AFPD, (a former sister company of
AFP), as Vice President of the Underwriting Department for
their dental liability program. She managed the department
for eight years before joining AFP in September 2000 to head
up the PRI dental malpractice program.
Valerie
A. Pizzullo, Senior Vice President of Claims. Ms. Pizzullo joined
Administrators for the Professions, Inc. in 1986 and spent
seven years as the Director of Claims, during which time she
was responsible for the daily operation of the department,
and was instrumental in building the structure of the department.
Prior to coming to AFP, Ms. Pizzullo spent 10 years in hospital/physician-based
management.
James
W. (Jim) Tuffin is the General Counsel for Administrators
for the Professions, Inc. and was an attorney in private practice
before joining AFP in 1992. Mr. Tuffin is a member of the
American Health Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute,
American and New York State Bar Associations and is a faculty
member of the Institute for Healthcare Communication.
Jeffrey A. Lunt, CPCU is Vice
President and Chief Underwriting Officer. Prior to being appointed to this position in
June 2005, Mr. Lunt served as Director of Underwriting for nine years and he joined
Administrators for the Professions, Inc. in 1987. Mr. Lunt earned the designations of
Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) in 1996 and Registered Professional
Liability Underwriter (RPLU) in 2000.
Christine
Quinn is Vice President of Risk Management Services. Ms.
Quinn joined Administrators for the Professions, Inc. in 1987
after working as a critical care nurse for 5 years at New
York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Ms. Quinn is an RN,
BSN, and has earned a Masters degree in Public Administration.
She has also earned A.R.M. and RPLU designations and is a
fellow of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management.
Ms. Quinn is a member of the faculty of the Institute for
Healthcare Communication.
