As the past president of the New York State Podiatric Society and a current practitioner, I recognize the importance of Risk Management in medicine. I have taken the PRI Risk Management course each year. It offers insights on how to avoid many malpractice situations and guidance on keeping meticulous records on all patients. I believe PRI's Risk Management Department has saved me, as well as many other podiatrists, from unnecessary lawsuits and has given us peace of mind in our practices.
